इनपुट डिवाइस
इनपुट डिवाइस जिनसे कंप्यूटर में डेटा और कमांड स्टोर या एंटर कराया जा सकता है, इनपुट डिवाइस मेन मेमोरी में स्टोर किए गए डेटा और निर्देशों को बायनरी में कन्वर्ट कर देती है, आईये जानते है इनपुट डिवाइस (Input Device) के बारे में।

सबसे ज्यादा इस्तेमाल किया जाने वाला इनपुट डिवाइस कीबोर्ड है, जिसकी मदद से आप कंप्यूटर पर बड़े आसानी से टाइप कर पाते हैं, इनपुट डिवाइस का काफी विकास हो चुका है, जिनमें डाटा को टाइप करने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती है, इस प्रकार की कुछ डिवाइसेस आपका माउस है, लाइट पेन है, ग्राफिक टैबलेट है, जॉय स्टिक है, ट्रैकबॉल है और टच स्क्रीन है, यह सभी डिवाइस इस यूजर को मॉनिटर स्क्रीन पर आवश्यक चीजों को सिर्फ पाइंट करके सेलेक्ट करने की स्वतंत्रता प्रदान करती हैं।
इसलिए इन इनपुट डिवाइस को Pointing device भी कहा जाता है, आजकल तो इनपुट डिवाइस का काफी उच्च स्तर पर इस्तेमाल हो रहा है, यहां तक कि आपको टाइप करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, केवल बोलने से वॉइस इनपुट रिकग्निशन टेक्नोलॉजी की सहायता से टाइप कर सकते हैं, यह वह हार्डवेयर डिवाइस होती है, जिसे हमें कम्प्यूटर से कोई भी डाटा या कमाण्ड इनपुट करा सकते हैं।
